Troy Hayden joined the FOX 10 News team in Phoenix in 1994. Troy has anchored a variety of shows at FOX 10 Arizona Morning and FOX 10 News Saturday and Sunday. He currently anchors the prime time weekday FOX 10 news @ 10 p.m. with co-anchor Elsa Ramon. Troy began his media career at the Sacramento Bee as a sports writer. He then worked as a writer and producer for the Sacramento CBS affiliate KXTV before moving on to report and anchor at KVIQ in Eureka, Calif., and KRNV in Reno, Nev. During his career, Troy has earned a variety of awards. Most notable were the 2001 Associated Press Awards for Anchor of the Year and first place for Live Reporting. In 1999, The New Times named him Best of Phoenix, Live Reporter; and he was also the recipient of a prestigious Emmy nomination for Best Anchor.
